Report for week 23 - 2005.

MCF are working on the house and will remove three of the keel plank, clean and steam Mohawk inside from outside position. The foundation work is still ongoing, but we can not say anything yet for sure. We regret that YMC in Norway, out of principal reasons, not was able to help with the small guarantee we asked. A large Norwegian Bank is still positive to help the project, but we need a 3de part guarantiee, which could have been YMC. Still there is quit a few alternatives working with answering us.

Since last week we have made a plot of the accident, as a visual give aid to get a picture of the accident. We hope to put this out on the web soon, but we need an approval from our lawyers. We're sure about who's to blame beforehand, and this will rectify any questions anyone's ever had. It's not understandable how the Dutch authorities can use this much time to finish the case.

The race we participated in during the last weekend was a nice break for the working group. It was nice racing weather with good winds all through the race. We used less than 15 hours and a lot of good sailing. On Griffin we had a little accident when turning on Ferder, and we used the Spinnaker as fishing net for some hectic minutes. (No fish though). “3delen” had some problems with the engine after finishing in the middle of their class. We left Horten on Saturday noon, and had a nice barbeque in the evening.

The Sailcamp is now nearly filled up, and we have app. 70 participants on the camp which is very good. We are looking forward to the camp and to recruit several more members for the rebuilding of Mohawk in the autumn.
